And once you have become sick of 3d printers, then you take a few weeks break and then work on your machine. Watch videos about printers, theres alot, believe me, I've been through so many of them that I started dreaming, actually dreaming the videos again. There's alot you can actually do, it just depends on how much time you have to care for the machine, if you just want something that will work and dont want to give much attention to the machine itself, rather get a prusa from a local shop, that will do annual services etc on the machine, and if you want to take time and care for the machine, I'd suggest that you read up everything about 3d printers, or at least as much as you can, but not just about the printers, the hardware, firmware (software), different filaments, and different types (cartesian, delta, HBOT and CoreXY, theres more but those are the mainstream ones). 1 x Z-axis assembly with motor installed.1 x Build plate with a textured surface.1 x Instruction guide (multiple languages. Welp, tbh I'd either get another buildplate and see what it does, or just use a piece of 3mm thick glass that is flat with some glue stick, most 3d printers are the same, different hardware and / or software, but they all do the same thing, melt and extrude plastic and is basically just running CNC machine commands to move the head around, placing the plastic in the shape that you want, bed adhesion - prints have to have the 1st layer a bit squished down for better adhesion, yes some materials warp alot (abs asa etc) but can be mitigated with an enclosure, and some tabs, just giving it a bit more surface, some guys have their printers dialled in so good they print thin parts in abs without tabs, rafts or brims, but to get to that point can be tough. Non-reddit communities are listed in our getting started guide We welcome community contributions to this wiki! Related Communities We suggest users to print with raft for a better print result, after several times printing, the plate maybe not leveling perfectly due to the scraps left on the surface, with a raft can make the first layer well leveled and to make the model more flat.
